Enjoying the sunshine

The weather was beautiful! 0 degrees at 8am and a maximum of 8 degrees during the day, but it didn't feel cold. We met up the R to go for a walk along a disused railway line. We kept the obligatory 2-3 metres apart without any problems, and Amber spent the time at the end of her very extended lead. A strange Mother's Day.......missing the hugs !!!!

We passed about a dozen people in the 90 minutes and 5 kilometres that  we walked. People stood aside at a sensible distance and the bikers went like the wind.

It was good to catch up with R's news and plan how we will cope in the coming months. She is still at work, but will be working from home by next weekend. 

I was exhausted by the time we got back. A cup of coffee and a nap helped to restore the energy. 

More work on the mail out for a few hours.......:0(
