Silly Saturday

Big surprise this morning when son returned from shops with flowers and Blood Orange Gin for tomorrow’s Mother’s Day - he usually isn’t very good at that sort of thing and used to rely on his dad to sort it out!   Daughter and grandchildren turned up in afternoon as did some flowers from Next which they had ordered.  Bit of a dodgy stomach going on, so nice to see everyone, but not sure if a wise move given the social distancing, but we did stay well apart.  Quiet evening after linking to a video meeting with community choir so that hopefully we can all be singing together online soon.  Glass of wine and Wilbur the penguin for company.  Not really a Silly Saturday, just a busy one, although someone my age having a Wilbur is quite silly I guess!
