Early morning / hibernation day 1

A very frosty and cold morning. I looked up and saw this beautiful roe deer in the field munching away on the lichen it was gathering from the fallen branches.
A different day to our original plans that were booked 6 months ago so no meal with Mikes family instead I spent most of the day in the garden. Hard to think straight at the moment with so much going on. Some of the shops have started to close now eg John Lewis, Next etc. which is sensible. Mike went to the Co op this morning to get some vegetables and all the shelves were empty.They had to close for an hour to restock.He managed to get two leeks and a carrot from the butcher.We’ve ordered some veg from a local farm, something we had wanted to do for a long time and knowing that we will be around for it to be delivered makes it possible.
Watched some tv in the evening :)
