Thai Lake-Farms

Our guide had nothing but praise for the former King, who passed away a few years ago.  This King had hundreds of projects trying to improve the standard of living of the people.  One very successful one apparently was the raising of tilapia in lakes  They bred vigorously and are high in protein, so they substantially upgraded the protein in the diet.  There were many square lakes like this for harvesting aquatic life.
