Breakfast.

Today after a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon we headed for home to begin a very different life for the foreseeable future. We have had two lovely days with the W’s but now its back to reality again. The family are in Leicester  and return tomorrow.

Sue who works for us is now no longer coming inside and will only do jobs outside and well away from us, She is devastated as much of her life for the last 30 years has revolved round he almost daily visits to us wether  working or not.

Miss H who has been living with us whilst lambing has also moved out. She will continue to lamb her next bunch of ewes here but again away for us.

Pip managed to distinguish herself whilst we were away. Yesterday she ate a tablet meant for one of the ponies who has Cushings Disease.  Sue at once took her off to the Vets who then had to phone the Poisons Bank to find out what the drug potentially might do to her. Fortunately she had been sick and the tablet would have only been partially digested. After a phone call (costing £79!) they decided she would be ok as the dose was quite low! 

Stay safe dear blippers . Heed the recommendation of keeping well away from all but the most necessary people. Let us all be thankful  for the world of blip where we can keep in contact with people every day.
