Roadside Buddha

This is not a good-quality image but gives some feel for what the Bangkok countryside looks like from the road.  In the midst of small shacks and crowded apartment buildings, there will appear some large estate where frequently a large statue of Buddha has been erected.  Many of them seem to have their own temple as well.
