Sandcastle

Today's Orewa beach sandcastle building competition was cancelled due to you know what. The professional builders were still busy constructing the centrepiece however. They were working behind barriers both for their protection and to keep inquisitive hands away. It will be there for a week and hopefully the weather won't impact it too much as some rain is forecast. It was a bright morning and again the beach was popular for walking, luckily the tide obliged by also keeping its distance (extra).
