Arizona Dreamin’

Full Day #5

Cool and mostly overcast.  Second day in a row the TVs were out and forget about internet.
I went on a short Elegant Trogan hunting trek.  No luck.  I guess I have to go earlier in the morning.  I have never gotten any shots of pine siskins and most of the time they were out of range of my camera.  I did crop this one to death because I thought the  odds of duplicating it were slim. So the fluttering Pine Siskins are my blip.  I'm going to use up some extras today since I got some non-birds on my walk.  The first is an Arizona gray squirrel hopping up the ravine and running past me.  I like that I got is feet in motion.  The turkeys were a riot today.  One decided he wanted to knock suet out of the feeder so kept jumping in the air to reach it.  I picked one of the best of the bunch.  Lastly, this falls in the believe it or not category: a prickly pear cactus growing out of a rock.
