Desiccated

The forester was chainsawing so I walked up and down the driveway into the farm.  It was hot and windy and very bright light.  That is when the word desiccated came to mind.  My blip is the little bits I collected to illustrate desiccated.  i brought them back to the house and placed them on the piece of bark I had collected on Friday.
A and A arrived home this afternoon with tales of worried motel owners and having to leave their contact details at a cafe.   I haven't listened to the news today.  I needed a break.
