THE CALM BEFORE THE WHITEOUT

Or so we are led to believe. This afternoon we are to be dumped on again. On top of the snow and ice which has been here all week.

So I came into work early this morning, hence being able to snap this sunrise, in the hope of slithering off this afternoon before the serious white stuff appears.

Imagine getting stuck at the office unable to get home on a Friday night. That would be very bad timing. Very, very bad timing.

There again I don't want to end up, as someone did on my route home, in the ditch either.
