I haven't posted in a while because I haven't seen my mom in a while. Her facility has been in lock-down mode since the 17th, and before that they were limiting visitors and requesting families to essentially stay away. After the tragic situation down in Kirkwood, I can totally understand why.

I have Skype visited with my mom, but that's clearly not the same as a walk on the beach, is it. So here's a photo full of joy and sunshine from a happier time. But who knows. My mom could be quite happy right now. She often is. I'm just not seeing it.

The dog's name was Rosie.
