Old Stables

Tutoring the group via zoom was very successful! Finished work around 3pm then we took the dogs for a walk around Gibside Usually this gateway to the courtyard (where the café and second hand bookstore is located) is wide open; I've never seen it shut tight before like this! All shops, cafés and toilets were closed but the outdoor grounds of this National Trust property were open to all, free of charge, and plenty of people were taking advantage of this gesture of goodwill. Social distancing signs were scattered about though and playgrounds cordoned off.
