Return to the North

Sparkling eyes

Well, school finished yesterday and when I mean finished, I don't really mean finished! I'm back in from next week on a rota basis of teachers/supervisors to look after the children of parents in essential services.
Sis and I decided to head to North Cave wetlands for a walk. there is no way we are going to deal with 3 months+ of isolation without going out for some fresh air.
We kept a respectful and safe distance from everyone (a lot had obviously had the same idea!) Did stop and chat with 'Mrs no bugger' (her words) who's son had cracked the three line whip and had got her and her husband up to live on their caravan park near Pocklington rather than be on their own down in Nottingham. We stood and chatted / had a laugh for about 10 minutes but standing about 4m apart.

did see lots of bird life flitting about and got some passable shots of blue tits and robins (and n extras I've added a more racy picture of two gulls mating) but in the end I had to blip the dunnock.
The glint in the eye had it :-)
