Wedding waivers

Boy, it’s been a week and a half regarding the wedding.

There’s been lots of tears but lots of realisation of joy and an instagram post that’s made us all well up with emotion.

So where we’re at, is a simple marriage ceremony on Sunday. Simple and legal but, as SkyeMan’s parents and family are unable to join us, it’ll be minimal. No wedding dress.

AND ... they both have to work next week, a serious deadline looming and nowhere to live as a married couple, until their initial wedding date of the 4th April.

So on Sunday, they’ll say their vows and separate. HatBox will stay here and SkyeMan will drive back to work and deadlines.

Then on the 4th, they’ll exchange rings, pray, celebrate with just our family, and drive off on their honeymoon as a married couple. Hard for them. Nothing like this could have been foreseen.
