Call me Percy…
Hi Everyone,
Well the day started rather sad as I had to send an email to all the members of the club with no grub saying it was closed for the foreseeable future. The club was founded in 1906 and stayed open through WW1 & WW2.
I loafed around most of the morning before getting going, I started working on another project outside to make another place to store logs for the woodburning stove but got distracted and ended up starting to tidy up the outbuilding as it is very much like my garden having had 7 years of neglect… I would not say it’s tidy, but I found a few things I had forgotten I had and there was also quite a lot of duplication of things.
Anyway, the temperature had risen compared to the morning so I thought I would have another go in the garden… I had a quick strim around the edges and then got the mower out, I dropped the height one notch and got going, as you can see that was not such a good idea as I chopped off big lumps of grass, it was never very flat out there but is even worse now.
Well it was a nice couple of hours out there and I guess I have made a little progress. The weather forecast looks quite good for the next week so maybe I’ll continue to make progress and bore you all silly along the way.
Nothing much else to say other than I hope you’ve all been good on the social distancing stuff.
Stay safe my friends, more tomorrow.
