Panic buying at epidemic levels in Stirling today

This was the scene in Aldi’s, Lidl’s and Sainsbury’s early this afternoon:
Frozen food counters near empty;
Fresh poultry and meat sold out;
Fruit and vegetables - low stock of limited selection;
Tinned vegetables and soups almost sold out but baked beans available in Lidl’s and Sainsbury’s;
Bread and bakery almost sold out;
Toilet rolls sold out but approached by shopper who informed us ( without us asking) that FarmFoods had toilet rolls if we were looking for them;
Beers, wine and spirits low stock of limited selection..
Totally unbelievable - something has to be done to tackle this affliction.

By the way I only clocked up 6 squats with no yellow labels in Sainsbury’s and just 6 red 30% off labels in Aldi’s !!
