Squirrel Blip Friday .....

.... and Flower Friday.

To celebrate (something we need more than ever!) the first day of Spring I wanted to include a flower in my Squirrel Blip Friday shot. 

Since I had no plans to go anywhere again today I wandered our yard looking for inspiration.  We have a few daffodils and hyacinths coming up in the front yard so I took some pictures of those first.  I was happy with these shots until ....

.... I wandered to the backyard to get my Squirrel Blip Friday pictures.  That's when I saw this sweet little girl statue just sitting there waiting to be of use.  The tiny blue flower was along the fence also begging to be used today.  Perhaps I should have washed the statue a bit. 

Then it was a waiting game to see if the squirrels would be cooperative.  And this one was more then willing to participate in my Spring celebration.  Blip done. 

I have added another extra of a Blue Jay, a male Northern Cardinal and a male Eastern chipmunk.   As our self-isolation continues I hope you don't get bored with all my wildlife shots .... they might be all I can manage for a while. And I'm not complaining!
