Day 4

School today involved using a hammer (outside in her front yard) to pound chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and coconut to layer together to create something like sedimentary rock; melting marshmallows and chocolate chips and then putting pressure on them to make metamorphic rock; and melting chocolate with some coconut and then chilling it, to make igneous rock. 

I showed Evan the photos of his adventures on Sauvie Island, made into a book that arrived after quarantine started; and he told me about the castles he built with sand.

I wrote and thought, paced and considered, rode the exercise bike and wrote some more, but I don't have anything worth sharing yet.
