Fun on the beach

HtP and I had the day off as we were going to spend the day with his mum but of course that wasn’t wise.

Roadworks were controlling the flow of traffic past my house so we took the opportunity to cut off a part of the tree that was hanging down over the road.

We then had lunch before going to The beach by Highcliffe Castle. We let the boys off their leads and HtP raced up and down the beach with them. We met lots of people with their dogs.

We called in at a supermarket on the way home and the vegetable section was empty. But then we stopped into another one and they were well stocked.

I’m trying to use up things in the cupboards so we had a dinner that used brown lentils.

It was good to do something normal.
