What A Guy!

We have made it safely back to our lovely farm in Connecticut, after an eight hour drive from Virginia.  Here is Mr. W, smiling in an inscouciant manner, (note the dachsund socks!)  That glass of white wine is mine -- well deserved, after almost 8 hours of reading aloud, and Mabel must be thinking she is traveling with crazy people, bless her heart.   She was very happy to be back on her own turf, and was very content to survey her "empire" from the steps of the back deck, along with Mr. W!

Tomorrow is "just a short jaunt" of 2 1/2 hours back to Boston -- I'll be very glad to be back home again!
