Coronablip: Day 3
What an eerie feeling. Despite the rational part of our brains knowing that closure of bars, restaurants etc was the much -trailed next step in tackling COVID-19, and despite seeing our friends abroad already living their lives in that new normal, and even knowing that it was coming, there was still a palpable sense of shock as the Prime Minister and First Minister announced those measures out loud. Each day brings so much news, so fast, that every day feels like a week. Conversations a mere 24 hours ago feel like several pages ago in a diary.
And for some inexplicable reason I’ve taken to waxing lyrical. Chaucer I am not. The weekend beckons, and while it will almost certainly include periods of work, it will also include periods of other stuff too. An opportunity to plan my time differently over the coming months. And if there’s one thing I love more than a plan (noun)…it’s the opportunity to plan (verb)!
