If you go down in the woods today........

I went for a walk in Acomb Woods this afternoon. Who should I meet but Bob T from the photo group along with Mrs T and Michael T plus two lovely dogs. We chatted from a suitable distance.

Bob is sporting a nifty bit of headgear. It's really to keep a dog warm, but I reckon he could convert it into a face mask in an instant!

We have an online group for our photo group and it's proving a good way to keep in touch during the pandemic.

I found more of the yellow Star of Bethlehem today. The wood anemones are well out and some have large flowers. 

The river is lower, but still very full.

It's been sunny and fine. Another lovely day. The news of one hospital filling its intensive care beds came as no surprise. Some staff in the NHS still don't have appropriate protective gear to wear but the government played this down today.

Boris Johnson was asked if he would see his mother on Mothering Sunday. At first he said he would be working, then that he might or probably would. He closed pubs and restaurants and wants us to stay indoors. Surely he could think of the appropriate answer to make.
