High View of Derwentwater

Unfortunately the weather wasn't good today either. So we opted for another low level route. We walked from Keswick up Walla Crag and back via Ashness Bridge and Derwentwater.

We had a late lunch in Keswick before settling down to chill in the afternoon. It was short lived. My other half checked his emails and felt that he needed to be in work for the following morning. All down to the Coronavirus. It was all unsure which parts of the university where he works would be open or closed, and as a manager he needed to be there to make and decisions and arrangements about keeping the library building open and the service running.

So we packed our bags and headed off down the M6 back home.......

At least we had managed a few days away.
