The Cracks Are Appearing.

It was nice and clear this morning so I went out to try and get a shot of some tussocks in a flooded field with the nice blue sky reflected in the still water.
What I got was tussocks in rough ice. Ahh well ……. maybe another day.
But I did get the old dead tree (that took 3 shots joined together) and pylon cables...…. and some moss on top of some fence posts.

On the way home I stopped and took pictures of the road slippage which has appeared within the last week or two since I was up there.
The crack is about 20feet long and I got a stick at least a foot down inside it. The side that the phone is on (the side next to the 100 foot drop into the river) is about an inch lower than the rest of the road.
I have sent notification to the Council, but they have removed the facility to add pictures and the fact that they were unable to find a 50 foot tree across a busy path when given very  specific directions has prevented me from holding my breath for then doing anything until half the road vanishes into the river.

The monsters were disappointed that they were not going to The Larder this afternoon. They have been operating a 'take away' service only this week and I imagine that they will be shut totally next week and for the foreseeable future.

We have agreed that we will give a couple of hours each day to do some schoolwork and take the monsters out for a walk (well, I will when walking PD).
