Happy birthday ...

... to Vera Lynn who is 103 years old today.

Thinking of Vera made me think of how the country, when facing adversity in the Second World War, pulled together, with people helping each other to get through the tough times.

Seems quite fitting really.

My blip is of the memorial bench by the war memorial, blipped on my pre-work morning walk at 7.30 this morning.
