Boat of the day

I don't know what kind of a boat this is, but I feel it is my kind of a boat. I don't know anything about sailing, and can never figure how you can sail into a wind. I also suffer easily from sea sickness which is a bit of a drawback. Maybe I should ask the owner if they need a crew? My extra photo is entitled: "Meanwhile, we were still thinking....."
