Pelicans, Herons, Osprey, and...and...Pigeons???

Sometimes, the showy shorebirds get top Blip billing, and...deservedly so. They are bigger, more colorful, and flashier. But, sometimes you have to post the subject because he/she was just a better model.

This young pigeon (I'm going to call HER Paulette), posed and posed and posed. She would shake, she would coo, and in general...just stand and look pretty.

The boat that Paulette is on is interesting. It is in a state of disrepair, and the pigeons have taken it over. Of the ones I could see, there are 22-25 pigeons living on board. As you can imagine...it is pigeon pungent.
