Imitating the sun

A special gerbera daisy trying to look like the sun. It is definitely spring now even though the situation worldwide is so bleak, nature is in full bloom ! For Flower Friday with thanks to Anni/BikerBear for always hosting.

A neighbour was taken away by ambulance this morning by people in hazmat suits, son no 1 in Singapore was so anxious, the couple wants to go to Japan, to get the paperwork needed to marry, but Japan doesn't let EU-passport holders in for 30 days starting today, so he can't go to Japan. As soon as their jobs end (in ten days) they'll need to leave Singapore within a month as their visas expire. Meanwhile the EU has closed its borders for everybody but EU citizens, so she can't come to NL. And there are practically no flights any more even if the authorities would make an exception for them both. And they don't want to be separated with her being pregnant.It's really hard to stay cheerful and calm, but we can get over this together and there must be a solution, I sincerely hope !
