South Tynedale Railway.

Had a lovely walk about 6 miles from Lintley Halt to Alston on the track which runs along the small gauge railway from Alston to Slaggyford. No trains running at the moment. Its a great walk on a good path and we saw two people all day. This used to be the railway line from Alston to Haltwhistle before it closed and we have now completed the whole walk.
So nice to get out and hear the Lapwings and curlews calling in the fields.
