Morning Shadows

Out early with Finlay again - lovely sunny morning, if a tad chilly! These leaf shadows on one of the fences caught my eye. I love seeing little ‘spotlights’ of sunshine creating effects like this.

Food supply situation is getting silly now…. we are probably OK for ten more days or so, have a delivery booked for 29th, but cannot get another slot for love nor money. What we will get in the delivery heaven knows. We are classed as ‘vulnerable’ (although we don’t feel it) and not supposed to go out and mix with people, so we should get food delivered - haha. Our daughter had a delivery this morning with virtually nothing that she had ordered in it. No fresh fruit or veg, no milk, eggs or cheese, very little meat and (heaven help us) no shampoo! No bread, no peas, beans or tomatoes! A young family to feed, she has no choice now but to go and fight to see what she can get at the supermarket. Delivery driver said the supermarkets are only going to open from 8-4 every day - that should be interesting!

Thought for the day :

In 2053 a whole generation of 30 somethings will come to realise that they will have to actually buy some toilet paper as the stocks that their parents bought in 2020 begin to run out.
