Desertscape

It was a gloomy, drizzly day.  What was supposed to be a sunny, warm day fooled me into going out this morning in "inappropriate" dress and I froze my rear off.

Fortunately, I had time to go home amd put on jeans and a sweatshirt before my second appointment and my drive to the city.

This was the scene along the road on the ride home.  I noticed the unusual colors; colors I had never seen there before.  So, without  seeing any cars beind me, I slowed down and coasted along the road until I found the spot where I wanted to pull over.  

This was it.
