Coyote Ugly?

Well considering his left hind leg is broken, I think he looks pretty good.
He ran across the road in front of us this evening. When we stopped to look at him my hubby was able to make some noises to keep him standing still for a minute. I imagine his leg is broken from a gunshot wound, or maybe hit by a car. More likely the former. He seems to be getting along pretty well for a 3 legged dog.Large.

Edit for me: Our 16 1/2 year old calico cat, Peaches, died during the night. Not unexpected but still a bit sad. My sweet hubby buried her in the dark this morning so I wouldn't have to deal with it.
