Chancel

We managed to get out again today, this time to Dunstable Downs.  It was a dreary, grey, moist, cold and misty day - uninspiring photographically.

So my blip comes from a visit on the way to Dunstable Downs, to the nearby Whipsnade Tree Cathedral. These trees were planted by one Edmund Kell Blyth in the layout of  a medieval cathedral.  My blip shows the semicircle of Silver Birch trees surrounded by Yew Hedging which form the chancel.

This site may be worth revisiting once the leaves are out, and certainly under better lighting conditions.
