CV measures day #1

Gosh, another complicated Thursday here in the U&L house!
New washing machine arrived, but when Mr U&L inspected it the top (under the polystyrene) was completely smashed up!
So off I had to go risking life and limb to Curry’s to ask them to replace it - which they can do but not till Monday....”Monday!!” I wailed, ( mainly because we had removed the old machine and the pipe continued to leak water and Mr U&L had to turn the kitchen water off). “Oh yes” says the manager if we are still delivering by then! Adding “ there would be a delivery charge but in this case I will let you have it free”
In the end Mr U&L and I loaded the broken machine in our car with the help of our neighbour - so much for social distancing and took it to curry’s and picked up the replacement one. But it didn’t, stop there! As the grumpy warehouse git got it out of the car with Mr U&L he dropped it and scratched my bumper!!! I was furious - Curry’s will  pay I hope!!

I spent the rest of the day doing washing and making summer tops for work I might not get to wear till 2021!!
