Job done

In the midst of a global pandemic we have had a new drive laid. It feels a bit surreal, but life goes on. Weirdly. 

I have decided that those of us with a regular and sustainable income just need to spend it - wisely, ethically and locally but also liberally. No point saving when people are suffering. If you’ve got muck, spread it. Money may be the root of all evil but when you are broke a little goes a long way.

Devastated that this years Hay Festival has been cancelled. Not much good news around today at all in fact. I did spend a chunk of my afternoon off listening to music. Proper listening. Earphones on, paying attention to the bass lines, vocals, harmonies, melodies, instruments, themes ... I have no musical ability but I love picking over the elements of a good piece. R.E.M. and  talking heads. Brilliant.

New locks today as well. Always something to spend your money on...
