Rather him than me

The start of the work on our neighbours property. Yesterday they stripped out the contents of the shed and burned the lot along with a lot of stored wood and things from under corrugated metal sheets... the biggest bonfire l have seen in years.  Today in the rain they removed the roof and the old apple tree and all the shrubs beyond the shed.  I would give my eye teeth to have had that shed.. oh well. Our new view is lovely... a far distant hill appearing but.. l mustn't allow myself to get used to it because this will soon be built over with higher buildings and a further building seperate that will remove all view altogether... enjoy it while l can.
