Captive audience

This little fella was living in soffit in the front of our house, giving it access to our attic. My husband closed off their entry not knowing it was still inside (its mate came out). That left him stuck in our attic tossing insulation about and leaving droppings on my storage.
Trapped and being released far, far away. We fear it will do damage trying to return to its home.
In the extra it seems to be communicating with its eyes - "please let me out".
