The last bog roll?

This could end up being our last toilet roll?! Currently have three left and then it’s this one… The other day the boys were having a stupid fight and it fell in the bath, I tried to throw it away but Max rescued it and has been secretly drying it out on the radiator, thank goodness! #desperatetimes

An exhausting day talking to friends and family on the phone, everybody working out what their plans are, where they’re going to be and with whom, how they will survive this financially…

Today the UK announced all schools close on Friday except for the children of essential workers and vulnerable children, so we are trying to work out a way to continue helping Gulliver with his music, luckily I have a studio and he has lots of guitars and equipment but I want to get him his own recording set up if possible so I’m looking into what the bare minimum would be and how much that might cost.

Zebedee is in quite a large amount of denial and we have had some very difficult altercations with him today, hopefully we are making progress…

I am feeling very grateful, we have a spacious house, we have credit, we have a garden, we have offers of financial support from several people, although all my live bookings are cancelled for the foreseeable future, I will still get songwriting royalties and I can work remotely to some extent writing and recording vocals here in my studio, I went on a DJ course last year and I have Pioneer decks here so I can practice that.... it is going to be extremely difficult but I am confident that we will be okay.

Today I was asked to participate in a podcast for XXL, a club brand I perform for which has had to close, I rewrote the lyrics to one of my songs along the Covid 19 theme which is going down very well LOL. As an entertainer I feel a responsibility to keep going and attempt to raise spirits in anyway I can, once I’ve got rid of my cough I will be live streaming some performances.
