Pelicans

It was such a beautiful sunny day I braved the Tube and spent a few hours wandering round St James' Park. I reckoned being outdoors must be safer than inside a gallery, and realised it might be the last time for a while I might have the opportunity to be in London.
St James' Park was as ever lovely, full of blossom and huge variety of water birds , including a large group (family?) of pelicans which were very entertaining. I took loads of photos and a couple of short videos. It was difficult to decide on one blip.
It was just what I needed to take my mind off the Covid pandemic for a while.
Borders are closing, flights are being cancelled, Greece is cracking down on movement... I looked at bringing forward my Thursday flight to beat a possible travel ban, but there were no seats on any direct flights. Anxious times...
