Travel disruption

Flight cancelled, money refunded!

Turkish borders closed to Brits.
Brit borders closed for non essential travel.
Rory with a drs note saying he is not fit to travel with a temperature.

It’s very sad to have such an exciting holiday planned after months of working, but I won’t be spreading any coronavirus around the world, particularly in places where the health systems would be under much more strain. Living at home jobless without leaving much is going to take some adjustment on all sides but we’re getting there...!


Dad won scrabble. I have to say I’ve lost a bit of faith in it when the winner takes all using “EH” and “ED” on a triple word score but there you go. My last game with Rory was won with “QI” on a triple worder too. (Am I a sore loser??)
