The last look....

A busy one today. Managed to get everything fed by 10.30am and left Kev on mucking out three wee sheds while I headed up the road to Aberdeen to collect Junior from his halls of residence. The Uni has stopped all lectures etc so he is heading home for the foreseeable . It was a 3 hr drive including a wee stop at Asda in Dundee for a sandwich . Noticed there was not a single bit of soap or hand wash left there either. The lassie on the till said they had sold out of milk too( as a farmer that cheered me up )
Heading back down the road by 3pm . Dry until we got to Perth, then it was pi..ing down all the way home. Got a phone call when we were at Dundee that a lorry load of turnips was en route so just had to tell him where to tip them and let him get on with it.
Once we were back and I had fed everything again was just getting sat down for my tea about 9pm when wee brother phoned wanting me to check his lambing sheds about 11 pm as he had to take his wife into A & E for a chest X-ray . They now think she has this Corona Virus thing, so I better keep well away from him !
This was the view from Juniors room. I think he was quite sad to be leaving earlier than expected . He wasn’t the only one though, quite a few other parents busy flitting kids yesterday too.
