Don't panic, please (Day 1777)
The morning woofer wander was badly timed, as I got out of the car, a very heavy hail shower arrived. I was pelted with hailstones for most of the walk.
Work today was a trip out to Birsay to sort a basin waste and have a look at a broken loo seat. The basin waste needed a new one, which I had in the van, but I had to zoom into town to get a replacement loo seat. Although the jobs were fairly easy and quick, heading back and forwards to town used up a lot of time and pretty much the whole morning disappeared.
I was home for lunch with my beautiful wife and a wander with the woofers at Lyde. It was cold in the strong wind, and the sky threatened rain.
Another trip to town later to collect some stuff, post some other stuff, and a quick visit into Tesco to see if any of the things I couldn't get yesterday were in. Sadly the panic buying continues and the shelves were even emptier than they had been yesterday.
Today's blip may not be what you think it is, but was inspired by my Uncle M's comment on the Facebook share of a recent blip.
