Spreading a little sunshine...

You may remember this sculpture that I’ve blipped several times before, I’ve always found it bit of an odd sight. But I recently discovered that the elderly gentleman who lives here, and who regularly changes the sculpture’s outfits, created this to cheer up his wife who lives with dementia. So now, whenever I see the sculpture, I look at it in a new light, as a way of spreading a little sunshine...

A quick trip to the local pharmacy and post office this morning (they’d also sold out of eggs!). Am trying to get all my errands done before the weekend lockdown. Then home to spend half an hour in the garden, even though there was mizzle in the air, enjoying the Sparrow’s antics...
