Overton whistling
I've been digging out my whistles and flutes this evening to bring into work tomorrow (to show to a colleague who is getting into playing trad Irish flute). I've never really got on with my Overton Colin Goldie whistle ... I think I haven't really given it a chance. I've been trying to play an air called 'Dear Irish Boy' this evening from a CD by Kevin Crawford. It sounds similar to his tone and I can begin to see its potential. Good to take my mind off things after a strange day at work trying to get my point across. The GPs don't seem to react to the sound ... They just keep playing in the paper bag I've given them stuffed with hay.
