Still not panicking.....
I did our usual shop this morning and mums too. I was there nice and early as normal. I managed to get everything we needed apart from a bag of pasta. Tom likes white pasta, but they only had brown so that's what I got. There must be a. lot of people with huge supplies of pasta, loo rolls and chicken! The shop was considerably busier when I left, I was pleased I went early.
So this evening Boris gave his speech about new restrictions to avoid the virus. My immediate concern is for our grown up children, how will deal with the situation? Mum. Concern for the economy and UK infrastructure, my brothers business, hospitality business, the Arts, a friends haulage and lime spreading firm, how the NHS will cope etc......
We face timed all the kids in the evening, and yes it's going to be a very interesting few months, but they were all upbeat and have already got their own strategies for getting through.
