Calm Before The Storm

The scene early this morning (6:44am) at my local Sainsbury’s, with the car park virtually empty. There were only half a dozen or so of us waiting by the doors. Barely 15 minutes later, queues either side of me must’ve totalled in excess of 100 as the doors opened, with customers manoeuvring their shopping trolleys as if they were on a Formula 1 starting grid. I got what I came for, and nothing more.
