Fresh Picked Navel Oranges

Moira and I took a field trip to Florida Citrus Country packing store. She was so thrilled to see the giant orange blow up man in the parking lot that I didn't think we would make it in to the plant! They were not running the machines so it was a little boring to just watch them bag the oranges and grapefruits. But we had a fun time looking at all the fruit and the funny tourist shop. The shop was filled with candy, toy alligators, sea shell lamps, t-shirts and florida snow globes (of course with water and fish inside!). We finished up our visit with buying some of these beautiful and sweet tasting navel oranges. A fun time with my granddaughter!
