Cheese!

I think Ethan got out the wrong side of bed this morning (at 5.55am - grrrr) as he was a really grumpy boy. I was thinking it was going to be one of those days but fortunately after an hour or so he cheered up and was fab all day (well, until dinner time when he got grumpy again cos he was overtired)!

He was wonderful at his swimming lesson again today. It's so nice to see how much he's enjoying them now. The teacher had the kids swimming into the middle of the pool without their mummies today and Ethan was off without so much as a backwards glance.

We then went round Morrisons - again he was as good as gold and ended up having a big conversation about aeroplanes with the elderly couple in the checkout queue behind us!

Then home for lunch before a check up at the dentist. Although he has been before, it's the first proper check up he has had. The dentist asked who wanted to go first and Ethan shouted "me" before clambering up into the chair and immediately opening his mouth really wide before the dentist was even ready! He was a wee star and put up with his mouth being checked and some "special toothpaste" being put on his teeth without any complaints. He also thought it was funny when it was my turn and kept walking round the chair to get the best view. He didn't seem to understand I couldn't talk back to him though haha! I think his favourite bit though was getting 2 stickers for being a good boy which he's wearing on his top in this cheesy photo!

Home again and we made banana loaf before Daddy got home and I made dinner.

Granny and Grandpa arrived just before his bathtime and got their usual delighted welcome from Ethan.
