Luck

The theme of Tiny Tuesday this week is : ‘Something Irish, green or holy’. Perfect for St. Patrick’s Day.

‘The luck of the Irish’ is a well known phrase so the wishbone from my dinner features (it was a tiny chicken due to local panic buying).

The child is excitedly carrying her new found lucky treasure and kindly offers the chance of a super St.Patrick’s Day wish to her parents. The 1950s Dad is completely passive and uninterested on this occasion (he thinks it’s superstitious nonsense). Mum is silently and desperately wishing for knickers, a longer skirt, trousers or leggings - she’s not fussy! The disadvantages of getting dressed in the dark . . .
