Blooming Venus Flytrap

A few weeks ago I posted a blip of my budding Venus Flytrap. It has taken a long time for the flowers to open one by one and I think it's at its best now, although the first flower is now brown and curled up.

Rain again today, but I made good use of the dreich day by making phone calls and writing emails to keep in touch with some friends.

I heard today that the Church of Scotland is recommending that all church services should be suspended for the foreseeable future. Of course, gatherings in church should not be treated any differently to other gatherings but it's still hard to come to grips with this, and any of what is going on.
